Gamification & Sales Support
The client, a precast garage manufacturer, wanted to take load off its sales team. Their goal was an easy-to-use configurator on the website that lets prospects playfully put together their dream garage, then submit that configuration as a request to sales.
The underlying goal was to spark deeper purchase interest in prospective customers. The playful process, ending in a request, also pre-answers the recurring questions sales fields early on, allowing for a more focused conversation with the customer from the start — ultimately improving conversion odds.

Design Process
Concept & Visualization
In a workshop with the client, we identified the essential building blocks the configurator needed. These were then turned into a step-by-step flow, so users never face too many decisions at once — playful and never overwhelming. Custom icons were also created for each step, representing the placement of key product elements.
The configurator was optimized for tablet use but also had to work well on desktop. A preview area gave users a rough visual sense of their future garage. Once the prototype was built and signed off by the client, it was handed to the development team in an internal kick-off.

Result
Garage Configurator
The build met the goal of taking load off sales. Feedback from prospects surveyed about the new feature was consistently positive — both on the ability to configure a dream garage and on how easy the configurator was to use.
All requirements for this digital gamification product were met, though the final design doesn't fully match the originally conceived and detailed prototype due to budget cuts on the client's side.
